Client
The client is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills, LA, who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive head and neck surgery.
Objective
Increase the number of LA-based followers and brand awareness by collaborating with influencers located in Los Angeles accordingly.
Difficulties
- The client offered full barter on non-surgical treatments. It’s not easy to find influencers (with over 100k audience) willing to do barter as most consider their blogs as an income channel and are not interested in barter-based collaboration.

- Many influencers enlarge their audience with fake followers/bots. As a result, the scope of collaboration is way less than the blogger promised.

- Many influencers gain followers via giveaways, exchanges with other bloggers, and advertising in cheap regions. As a result, their location is not an indicator of the location of their subscribers, whereas the client (a local business) needs a local audience accordingly, not a random one.

Our Solution
- Searched and contacted over 1000 Instagram and TikTok local influencers with high engagement rate indicators and audience activity, which was double-checked (via tools and manually).

- Analyzed followers’ locations and selected only influencers whose audience geography is relevant to the client.

- Created detailed influencer agreements to make sure the influencer’s performance reaches the client’s expectations.
The Results
- Successfully managed 5 barter collaborations with large Instagram and TikTok influencers (over 100k to 370k followers).
- •
- Total reach: over 60,000 local audiences with a cost of 8 US cents/person reached.
- •
- Gained 300 local followers for the client’s TikTok page (influencer marketing ROAS will be positive even with a minimum 1% conversion to patients).
- •
- Collected influencers’ content created in the collaborations for the client to use in branded social media channels.
